Becky brings aerospace engineering, software development, entrepreneurship, and classroom experience to Trim Tab. She helps students learn that engineering is as much about experimenting, troubleshooting, and trying again as it is about getting the right answer.

Richard brings experience across engineering, programming, science, and virtual reality to help students move from simply using technology to understanding how it is designed and built. His cross-disciplinary approach encourages students to experiment, create, and see themselves as technology makers rather than just consumers.

Sydney combines science education, technology, engineering, and hands-on exploration to help students investigate how the world works. She brings an educator’s eye to creating experiences that are engaging while still grounded in meaningful scientific learning.

Tracey brings experience in education, technology, entrepreneurship, and project-based learning to Trim Tab’s programs. She helps students approach unfamiliar problems with curiosity, creativity, and the confidence to experiment without being afraid of getting something wrong.

Selam brings together technology, entrepreneurship, community engagement, and hands-on operating experience. At Trim Tab, she helps turn program ideas into real experiences by supporting the planning, logistics, outreach, volunteers, and countless details that make the work possible.

Ryley brings her interests in business, entrepreneurship, and emerging technology to the work of building Trim Tab. She has helped shape the organization’s marketing communications and digital presence, refining the systems needed to turn an early-stage nonprofit into something that can grow.

Nora brings a valuable near-peer perspective to Trim Tab, helping younger students feel supported during hands-on programs while taking on meaningful responsibilities behind the scenes. Her involvement reflects an important part of the Trim Tab model: giving young people opportunities to grow from participants into contributors and leaders.

Andrew brings technical ability, patience, and a near-peer perspective to Trim Tab’s hands-on learning environment. By working alongside students as they solve problems and learn unfamiliar skills, he helps reinforce that asking questions and working through challenges are part of becoming capable.

Jesse helps create a welcoming bridge between adult instructors and younger participants during Trim Tab programs. As a near-peer team member, she demonstrates that young people can move beyond participating in an experience to helping create that experience for others.

Brynn brings more than a decade of classroom and instructional experience to the development of Trim Tab programs. Her perspective helps ensure activities are not only engaging, but designed in ways that help young people feel capable of exploring, experimenting, and learning something new.
