Sydney Johnson

Sydney Johnson is a science educator at St. John the Baptist Middle School known for combining hands-on science with thoughtful use of technology. She has taught seventh-grade science while also helping faculty strengthen digital and blended learning practices, earning recognition from the Utah Coalition for Educational Technology for her contributions to technology-supported learning. In 2026, she was named St. John the Baptist Middle School’s Utah Catholic Schools Outstanding Employee. At Trim Tab, Sydney has brought science, biology, engineering, outdoor exploration, and phenomenon-based learning together to give students multiple ways to investigate how the world works.
