Get Involved with Trim Tab
Trim Tab is building a community of people who want to support, teach, mentor, and create opportunities for youth.

Whether you want to volunteer occasionally, support a summer camp, serve as a mentor or TA, share technical expertise, teach a program, or explore a more ongoing role, this is the place to start.
Tell us how you’d like to get involved, and we’ll follow up when opportunities align.
Ways to Get Involved
You do not need to know exactly where you fit before reaching out.
These are some of the most common ways people support Trim Tab.

Support Programs & Events
Help camps, workshops, showcases, and community events run smoothly. This may include setup, check-in, logistics, hospitality, materials, photos, or general support.
Mentor, T.A. or Support Students
Work directly with students during camps, cohorts, and hands-on learning experiences. This may include serving as a TA, teen mentor, adult mentor, small-group coach, or project support.

Teach or Lead Programs
Help lead or co-facilitate learning experiences in areas such as STEM, coding, robotics, AI, 3D design, entrepreneurship, creativity, or career-connected skills. Instructor roles may require a more formal application or onboarding process.
Share Technical or Professional Expertise
Bring real-world knowledge into Trim Tab programs by serving as a guest expert, reviewing student projects, advising curriculum, helping shape future pathways, or connecting students to current tools and industry expectations.

Help Behind the Scenes
Support the work that makes programs possible, including outreach, communications, grant research, fundraising support, website updates, data tracking, follow-up, or operations.
Advise or Open Doors
Share perspective, make introductions, identify opportunities, or help Trim Tab stay connected to real community and workforce needs.

Not Sure Where You Fit?
That’s okay. Some people start by helping at one event. Others become mentors, TAs, instructors, advisors, or long-term supporters. Tell us what interests you, and we’ll help identify the right next step when opportunities arise.
What Happens After You Reach Out?
After you submit the form, we’ll review your interests and keep you informed about upcoming opportunities.
Some roles may involve a simple volunteer onboarding process. Teaching, paid, or ongoing roles may require a separate application or additional follow-up.
When positions are open, we’ll share application links directly or post them on our Open Positions page.
For partnership, sponsorship, or advisory conversations, we’ll follow up personally.
