Trim Tab works with schools, cities, nonprofits, youth programs, chambers, homeschool networks, clubs, and community groups to create more opportunities for teens ages 12–18.
Some partners bring Trim Tab workshops, events, and multi-week programs directly to the teens they serve. Others share existing opportunities, refer teens, sponsor participation, or provide the resources and relationships that make those opportunities possible.
Together, we can help more teens discover what is possible, build practical capabilities, and apply what they learn through purposeful, real-world experiences.

What Trim Tab Brings
1. Current and Emerging Tools
Teens explore tools and technologies that are influencing education, work, entrepreneurship, and everyday life. Programs may include AI, robotics, drones, VR and AR, coding, game design, 3D design and printing, micro-manufacturing, graphic design, and other emerging subjects.
2. Hands-On Learning
Teens learn by building, designing, experimenting, troubleshooting, and trying again. Trim Tab programs emphasize challenges, projects, collaboration, and tangible outcomes rather than extended lectures.
3. STEM + Entrepreneurship
Technology alone can help a teen make something. STEM + Entrepreneurship helps them understand who it is for, what problem it solves, why someone would value it, and how it could create profit, impact, or both.
Entrepreneurship and Design Thinking help teens connect technical and creative skills to purpose, initiative, customers, communities, and real opportunities.
4. Industry & Real-World Connections
Instructors, mentors, companies, and community partners help connect programs to current tools, careers, workplace expectations, real problems, and opportunities beyond the classroom.

A partner may begin with a two-hour workshop, a STEM night, a community open house, a multi-week cohort, or a progressive series. Teens and partners can engage at the age, stage, subject, and level of interest that fits.

A first experience can be meaningful on its own, but curiosity should not become a dead end. Trim Tab helps connect initial exposure to deeper learning, mentors, projects, entrepreneurship, internships, paid work, and other real-world opportunities.
