Dr. Tulinda Larsen

Advisor

Dr. Tulinda Larsen brings more than four decades of experience in economics, aviation, advanced manufacturing, workforce development, and organizational leadership to Trim Tab. Her career began as an economist with the U.S. Department of Transportation and has included leadership roles across commercial aviation, emerging aerospace technologies, economic development, and manufacturing. She served as president of the Utah Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Initiative, now part of 47G, where she helped secure more than $30 million to strengthen Utah’s advanced-manufacturing sector. Earlier, she led aviation-data company masFlight through its growth and acquisition and has taught economics at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Throughout her career, Tulinda has connected industry growth with the people needed to make that growth possible. Her work has included developing workforce initiatives, mentoring entrepreneurs and students, expanding opportunities for women in technical fields, and creating STEM experiences that introduced girls to drones and emerging aviation technologies. Today, through Skylark Services, she advises organizations on economics, workforce development, manufacturing, and strategy.

As an advisor to Trim Tab, Tulinda brings a particularly useful view of the connections among education, emerging technology, workforce needs, and real economic opportunity. Her career has repeatedly put her at the intersection of industry, government, education, and community, giving her firsthand experience with what happens when people gain access to new skills, relationships, and possibilities. That perspective helps Trim Tab think beyond individual programs toward how young people can connect what they are learning today with industries, technologies, and opportunities that are still taking shape. - LinkedIn Bio
